Keyboard	Picture currently not available!	An input device consisting of various keys that allows the user to input data, control cursor and pointer locations, and to control the dialog with the workstation.
Mouse	Picture currently not available!	A small device attached to the computer by a cord, which lets you give commands to the computer. The mouse controls an arrow on the computer screen and allows you to point and click to make selections.
Microphone	Picture currently not available!	A device that converts sound waves into electrical signals. To record sound on your PC, you need a microphone to convert sound to electrical signals
Joystick	Picture currently not available!	An input device popular for computer games where the user controls the location of a cursor by pushing a stick in the direction of the desired movement and releases the stick to stop movement.
Gamepad	Picture currently not available!	PC gamepad is a simple game controller desgined for replacing PC analogue joystick in some games. Gamepad has better "touch" in some games and sometimes there is need for more than two buttons.

Tracker Ball	Picture currently not available!	This is like turning a mouse upside down and rolling the ball with your fingers - the device itself doesn't need to move
Barcode Reader	Picture currently not available!	Barcodes are different groups of vertical bars that can be read by an optical scanner. Barcodes are printed on nearly every product that you can buy. Shops use barcodes because they are cheap to produce and very durable.
Digital Camera	Picture currently not available!	A digital camera allows you to take pictures and to store a digital photographic image that can be read by a computer. You can then transfer the images directly from your camera on to your computer.
Graphics Tablet	Picture currently not available!	This consists of a flat pad (the tablet) on which the user draws with a special pen. As the user draws on the pad the image is created on the screen. Using a graphics tablet a designer can produce very accurate on-screen drawings.
Touch screen	Picture currently not available!	A touch screen is a special type of VDU which has a grid of light beams or fine wires criss-crossing the screen. When the screen is touched (usually to choose an on-screen option), the computer senses where you have pressed. Due to the vast amount of information they can store, touch screen operated computers are generally used in the provision of public information and are found in places such as airports.
Voice recognition system	Picture currently not available!	A is used with a voice recognition system. This can be used with a word processing program to enter text. It can also be used as part of security systems - only certain digitally stored voices have access.
